Sara L. Chapman is Art Squad Graphics’s owner and creative lead

A New York City native, Sara Chapman began Art Squad Graphics in 1999, providing graphic design and book design in the Northern California Wine Country. Now this Seattle graphic designer partners with other talented design and web professionals and provides creative services to businesses, organizations and publishers, both locally and nationally.

Passionate about the secret meanings of typography, color, and the power of the right image, she brings fresh, practical sensibilities to all client projects, focusing on the customer’s or reader’s perspective.

Sara is on the National Board of the Graphic Artists Guild and currently serves as Western U.S. Regional Representative, helping to develop programs and workshops for designers, illustrators, and other creatives. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Conservatory, an organization dedicated to supporting the Volunteer Park Conservatory in Seattle, Washington.
